TIM RAUE – A CULINARY LEGEND FROM BERLIN

Tim Raue is one of Germany’s best-known and most successful top chefs. His Restaurant Tim Raue in Berlin, which he runs together with his business partner Marie-Anne Wild, has enjoyed international recognition for many years and is one of the most renowned addresses in German fine dining.
With two MICHELIN stars and numerous other awards, Tim Raue has made a name for himself far beyond Berlin. His restaurant is also regularly recognised internationally and was featured in “The World’s 50 Best Restaurants” rankings for many years.
In addition to his work as a top chef, Tim Raue is known to a broad audience as the author of several books and through numerous TV formats. Despite his international success, his connection to Berlin remains a defining part of his personality and his culinary work to this day.

A CULINARY JOURNEY THROUGH BERLIN AND BRANDENBURG

At Sphere Tim Raue in the Berlin TV Tower, Tim Raue combines his personal story with the culinary traditions of Berlin and Brandenburg. At a height of 207 meters, guests experience a modern interpretation of regional classics – uncomplicated, full of character and bearing the unmistakable signature of the Berlin top chef.
The current menu draws on well-known dishes and flavours from Berlin, Brandenburg and Raue’s own childhood. These include Soljanka, Tim Raue’s Königsberger Klopse, Berlin-style pork schnitzel, pike-perch and Rote Grütze. The “Meine Heimat – Tim Raues Berlin & Brandenburg” menu also places particular emphasis on the connection to the region and Raue’s personal memories.
For Tim Raue, the restaurant in the Berlin TV Tower is therefore much more than just an extraordinary gastronomic location. As a native Berliner, he brings together his home, his roots and memories of the food of his childhood with a contemporary culinary concept. As Raue himself describes it, he wants not only to bring the flavours of Berlin and Brandenburg to the plate, but also to tell his own story – for example, about his grandmother Gerda and the flavours that shaped him.

FROM BREAKFAST TO DRINKS ABOVE BERLIN

At Sphere Tim Raue, guests can enjoy a dedicated breakfast menu until 11 a.m., with a variety of options – from the classic Sphere breakfast and a vegan version to avocado toast, a granola bowl and different waffle creations. This allows guests to combine the view over Berlin with a special gastronomic experience right at the start of the day.
The TV Tower also offers various options for a casual visit in between. At the Sphere Bar, the menu includes Tim Raue snacks such as Berlin currywurst and Boulette, as well as cornichons and sandwiches. There are also beer, wine, cocktails and special creations. The Sphere Bar is open daily from 11 a.m. and combines Berlin flavours with panoramic views over the capital.
There are also suitable gastronomic ticket offers for different occasions. In addition to a regular restaurant visit, guests can, for example, book the “Highest Breakfast”, a “Highest Lunch” with currywurst or the “Highest Schnitzel Lunch”. Therefore, the offer ranges from breakfast and a relaxed lunch to dinner or drinks at lofty heights.
