With Berlin at your feet, five culinary delights on your plate, and Tim Raue himself in attendance: Ring in the New Year on December 31 at the Berlin TV Tower and welcome the New Year high above the capital’s rooftops.
A Culinary Journey with Tim Raue
On the last evening of the year, Tim Raue invites you to enjoy a special five-course menu at Restaurant Sphere. The culinary journey takes you from Tokyo to Singapore and St. Moritz, all the way to Berlin and Miami—accompanied by a nighttime view of the capital.
What makes this evening special: Tim Raue will be there in person. Together with his team, he’ll prepare the New Year’s Eve menu for the guests and host the evening. There will also be time for personal conversations and direct interaction with the guests—a special opportunity to experience Berlin’s top chef in person at Sphere Tim Raue.
The culinary journey in Tokyo begins with homemade sushi featuring hamachi, cucumber, and char caviar. The first course is served as a vegetarian option with celery, cucumber, and shiso.
Next up is Singapore: Wasabi shrimp offers that classic combination of heat and freshness. The vegetarian alternative is made with wasabi carrots.
The third stop is in St. Moritz, featuring a truffle pizza, before the journey takes us back to Berlin in 1926 for the main course. The dish features beef tenderloin in puff pastry with pointed cabbage and water chestnuts, a pearl onion and grape compote, and a Kampot pepper cream sauce. For vegetarians, there are wild mushrooms in puff pastry with pointed cabbage and Kampot pepper cream sauce.
To finish, things get sunny: Miami provides the finale of the menu with key lime pie, citrus lemonade on ice, and elderflower syrup.
Midnight Above the Rooftops of Berlin
Shortly before midnight, all guests head to the observation deck of the Berlin TV Tower. From up here, you can watch the New Year’s Eve fireworks over Berlin.
At 12:00 a.m., we’ll toast the New Year together with a glass of sparkling wine. And because a Berlin night couldn’t start any better, a currywurst will be waiting for you afterward.
Until 1:00 a.m., you can enjoy your first glimpse of Berlin in the New Year.
