Whether it is an unusual perspective, a spontaneous moment or a surprising detail: show us the capital the way you see it. Choose your personal photo and upload it using the submission form below. Add a title and briefly tell us the story behind your image, and you are part of One Tower. A Thousand Stories.
Each person may submit one photo they took themselves. Artistic edits, collages, typography, photomontages and mixed media are welcome, as long as your own photograph remains the basis of the work. Image content generated entirely or partially by AI is not permitted. Individuals may participate. Participation is free of charge. For participants under the age of 18, we also require a declaration of consent from a parent or legal guardian.
Submission period: September 28 to October 15, 2026
YOUR PHOTO. OUR EXHIBITION.
After the submission deadline, our jury will select 15 works from all valid entries. It is not only about photographic perfection, but above all about your perspective: the feeling of Berlin, your personal signature, the artistic idea and the way the TV Tower becomes the anchor of your story.
The 15 selected works will become part of One Tower. A Thousand Stories. and will be exhibited at the Berlin TV Tower from November 19, 2026. The exhibition will then remain on display for visitors to the Tower until the end of December 2026.
Before the exhibition, the 15 selected works will take part in a public community vote. The community can vote for its favorite. The work with the most valid votes will receive the People’s Choice Award.

Dinner for two at Sphere Tim Raue in the Berlin TV Tower, plus a signed copy of Tim Raue’s latest book. The winning work will also be produced as a limited BERLIN: UNFILTERED. postcard and offered in the Berlin TV Tower shop, with proceeds supporting a local charitable cause.

OUR JURY
Three perspectives, one shared view of Berlin: our jury brings together different experiences from photography, art and Berlin’s urban culture and will select the 15 works for the exhibition.

Thomas Kakareko is a photographer and creative consultant based in Berlin who specializes in street and urban photography. Since 2010, he has been sharing his work on Instagram, where he has built an international community. His photos feature architecture, people, and everyday scenes in cities around the world. In addition to his photography, he develops campaigns and content concepts for brands and leads workshops and masterclasses.

I’m Nadine, a photographer and content creator from “Muddastadt”, and I launched @urbanberlin a few years ago out of my passion for street and city photography. What began with urban moments and Berlin’s streets eventually led, via urban portraits, back to my own roots: hospitality, gastronomy, and the people behind them. I love Berlin on the move, genuine encounters, good drinks, bustling streets, exciting food spots, and all the little stories that unfold between sunrise and sundowner. To me, Berlin is a pretty cool surprise package: sometimes loud and wild, sometimes quiet and right there, out of the blue, the photos you can’t plan for just happen.

Marcel Wiest is an independent photographer and creator based in Berlin. His work focuses on architecture, culture, and tourism photography. His visual style is defined by strict symmetry, clean lines, and structural precision, which he uses to create unique visual identities for global brands and institutions. In addition to his commercial projects, he shares his work with over 280,000 people on @marcel_travels and passes on his technical expertise in masterclasses.

Who can participate?
Individuals may participate. Participation is free of charge. For participants under the age of 18, we also require a declaration of consent from a parent or legal guardian.
How many photos can I submit?
Each person may submit one photo they took themselves.
What requirements must my photo meet?
The Berlin TV Tower must be a recognizable part of your image, whether it is the main focus, on the horizon, between buildings, reflected somewhere or simply in the background.
Artistic edits and mixed media are welcome, as long as your own photograph remains the basis of the work. Image content generated entirely or partially by AI is not permitted.
What are the technical requirements?
You can upload your image as a JPG, PNG or WebP file with a maximum file size of 10 MB. The long edge should be at least approximately 2,000 pixels. HEIC, RAW and TIFF files are not permitted.
When can I participate?
The submission period runs from September 28 to October 15, 2026.
When does the exhibition take place?
The exhibition opens at the Berlin TV Tower on November 19, 2026 and will remain on display for visitors until the end of December 2026.
Can people appear in my photo?
Yes. However, you are responsible for ensuring that the submission, publication and exhibition do not infringe any personal rights or other third-party rights.
Where does the exhibition take place?
In the foyer of the Berlin TV Tower, on the 1st floor, not at the top of the Tower.
Is admission to the exhibition free?
Yes, admission to the exhibition is free.
