CELEBRATE YOUR BIRTHDAY IN BERLIN

Are you still looking for the right location for a special birthday party in Berlin? Whether you’re inviting the whole family, celebrating with your gang or hosting a children’s birthday party: We have the right ideas!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY WITH HAPPY FAMILY – CELEBRATE WITH FAMILY

Restaurant Sphere

The Sphere restaurant in the sphere of the TV tower is ideal if your guests want to see something of Berlin and you don’t feel like reeling off the classic tourist program. With a delicious birthday breakfast, lunch or classic coffee and cake, guests of all ages can enjoy culinary delights from regional cuisine and Berlin specialties from morning to night. And best of all, you don’t have to worry about the weather forecast. Thanks to the slowly rotating platform, the view from the 207-high restaurant is spectacular, come rain or shine. Even grandma will be delighted!

Restaurants at Wannsee (Nikolskoe/Moorlake)

If you want to invite several generations to celebrate, the traditional Moorlake and the Nikolskoe log cabin on Wannsee are a safe bet. The Moorlake scores points with its delicious home-baked cakes, good German cuisine and its location directly on the Wannsee. In good weather, nothing stands in the way of a dip in the water before, during and after your meal. You can go straight from the beautiful beer garden to the bathing area and continue your meal after a refreshing dip in the water. So pack your towels! From the Nikolskoe restaurant further up you have a wonderful view of the forest and Wannsee. The quality of the food is in no way inferior to that of the Moorlake. If you prefer a more private atmosphere, you can book separate rooms and your own service team for your celebration.

FOR LADIES & GENTLEMEN – PARTY WITH FRIENDS

Karaoke

Berlin has a colorful karaoke landscape. Unfortunately, some bars have had to close their doors in recent years, including the popular Green Mango. But the remaining competition is also impressive. The LGBTQ+-friendly bar Monster Ronson’s Ichiban Karaoke offers an open stage for the particularly brave, as well as separate boxes for 12-16 people that you can rent (note: these are booked out well in advance!). Smaller groups have to hope for their luck on site. Insider tip: If you’re planning your birthday as a girls-only evening, your chances at Monster Ronson’s are slim. In this case, you’re better off at Knutschfleck. The bar at the foot of the Berlin TV tower is also a good idea if you want to celebrate with your family in the Sphere restaurant first and then party with friends afterwards. If you don’t like karaoke among your guests but would like to belt out some tunes yourself, the relaxed Poison Rock Karaoke Cocktail Bar is the place for you.

Exit Games

If you want to take the traditional game night at home to the next level, invite your guests to one of the many exit games in Berlin. At Illuminati Escape, you can compete against each other or as a team in various missions. The aim is always to solve all the puzzles within 60 minutes. Exitroom Berlin is particularly popular among cineastes. The “Halflings” adventure takes you to Middle-earth, where you have to find a ring and kill a dragon. If you’d rather feel like Indiana Jones or a Ghostbuster, you’ll have an unforgettable birthday in The Room.

Men’s evening

If you’re looking for a great men’s night out with your buddies, we recommend DogTap Berlin. After the American brewery Stone Brewing pulled out of the Mariendorf location and was taken over by the Scottish BrewDog Brewery, a lot has changed in this unique location. But it is still a paradise for anyone who likes to drink beer. For larger groups, you can book a separate room and settle down in the Library Bar, the Mezzanine Lounge or the Garden House. The beer museum, duckpin bowling and shuffleboard offer the perfect accompanying program for your celebration. Enjoy tender pork ribs, juicy steak or seitan burgers to accompany your home-brewed beer.

THE LITTLE ONES CELEBRATE BIG HERE – CHILDREN’S BIRTHDAY PARTIES

Trampoline parks

If you don’t want your little ones’ birthday guests to tear up the place, you’ll have to entertain the little rascals away from home. And to make sure the party doesn’t fall through, you need weatherproof options. The trampolines at MYJUMP Berlin provide plenty of action. At the Mitte and Ost locations, boys and girls can really let off steam on countless trampoline variants, jumping pits, ninja courses and game challenges. If you book a birthday package, chips, nuggets, drinks and a small gift for the birthday boy or girl are included.

Black light mini golf

The party gets really cool with a laser maze and mini golf in the dark on the black light courses in Berlin. Blacklight Island Berlin in the south-west of the city offers an indoor mini golf course as well as a laser maze, air field hockey and bowling lanes specially designed for children. You can create an extra cool effect by equipping your little guests with fluorescent make-up pens and wristbands. With 3D glasses, which are included when booking a birthday package, the lighting effects look even more vivid. At Dockx at Tempelhofer Hafen, kids can not only let off steam with 3D black light mini golf, but also at the indoor playground and laser tag. For all facilities: book early!

Children’s cooking

If you prefer a more relaxed atmosphere, you can invite the children to cook together on their birthday. Not in your own kitchen, of course! That’s what the Kinder KOCHSPASS cooking studio is for. Parents can sit back and relax while the birthday child and their guests bake pizzas under the guidance of skilled cooks and children’s experts or have fun in the associated indoor playground. The offer is aimed at children aged 5 to 16.
