How far in advance are tickets available?

Do I have to book a time slot?
Yes, tickets are time slot-bound. Access is only possible during the booked time slot. The ticket has a grace period of 15 minutes.
How can I buy tickets for the TV Tower?
On our website and on site at the box office.
How can I make a group booking?
Restaurant Sphere Tim Raue:
For booking requests with more than 8 persons please use the contact form.
Observation deck:
For booking inquiries for more than 19 people, please use the group request form.
Ticket not received, what can I do?
Please check if the confirmation is in your spam folder. If there is nothing there, please send us an e-mail to [email protected].
Are tickets transferable?
Yes, tickets are transferable and not name-bound.
Can I cancel my tickets?
No, tickets cannot be canceled for any reason.
Can I rebook tickets?
Yes, every ticket can be rebooked online at https://tv-turm.de/en/manage-booking/ up to 10 minutes before the admission time at the latest.
Are children allowed to visit the TV tower?
Yes, but children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult (18+).
Do I need an extra ticket for the Sphere Bar?
No, the Sphere Bar is located on the observation deck and is accessible to all guests with a ticket.
Berlin Welcome Card
You will receive the discount for the Berlin Welcome Card by showing your BWC ticket at the ticket office. An online discount with the Berlin Welcome Card is not possible.
What you need to know about using the Berlin Welcome Card All Inclusive?
With the Berlin Welcome Card All Inclusive you can scan in directly at the turnstile. If the time slot is fully booked, please contact the ticket office. The next available time slot can be reserved there.

Is there a time limit for the stay?
Yes, the stay is limited in time.
Viewing platform: 45 minutes.
Restaurant: max. 1 h 45 min
Where is the entrance located?
The entrance to the Berlin TV Tower is opposite Alexanderplatz S-Bahn station.
What discounts are available?
Discounts are available for people with a student ID card, severely disabled ID card and holders of the Berlin Welcome Card. These discounts are only granted at the box office on site. Discounts on online tickets are not possible.
What are the opening hours?
March to October: 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. November to February: 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.
Are there guided tours or audio guides?
No. The TV Tower does not offer guided tours or audio guides.
Can wheelchair users or people with walking disabilities visit the TV tower?
The Berlin TV Tower is not barrier-free. You can find more information at https://tv-turm.de/en/limited-accessibilty/
Are there security checks on site?
Yes, there are security checks. Just like at the airport, you walk through a metal detector and every bag is checked for its contents.
Are suitcases/backpacks allowed?
No. For safety reasons, larger items of luggage (such as suitcases, bags and shopping bags) may not be taken onto the tower. The maximum size for backpacks is (45x35x20cm WxHxL).
Are there lockers?
No. There is no possibility to store luggage.
Are there rules for baby carriages?
Baby carriages may not be taken upstairs. There is a free storage facility at the wardrobe.
May I take photos?
Yes, private photos are permitted. Tripods and drones are not permitted.
Are animals allowed?
No, animals may not be taken along for safety reasons. Assistance animals are exempt with appropriate proof, as they are specially trained. Further safety-related information can be found under Safety.
Purchase of voucher
Here you’ll find everything you need for purchasing, gifting, and redeeming vouchers.
How can I redeem my ticket voucher online?
After selecting the ticket and entering all the required data, you will see an overview of the data you have entered. At this point, you have the option of entering the voucher number and clicking on the “Promo/gift card code” button to charge the corresponding amount. Remaining credit can only be used to pay for admission tickets.
How long is a ticket gift card valid?
The legal validity of a ticket gift card is three years from the date of purchase.
Where can I buy ticket gift cards?
Ticket gift cards can only be purchased online on our website.
Is the ticket voucher transferable?
Yes, the ticket voucher is transferable and not name-bound.
What can the ticket gift card be used for?
Ticket gift cards can be redeemed for ticket purchases on the website and at the box office.

How can I pay at Restaurant Sphere Tim Raue?
Only cashless with EC, debit or credit card.
Can I eat in the restaurant without paying admission?
No, you need a restaurant ticket for this. Included are the admission and the table reservation.
Do I need to reserve a table?
No. The table reservation is made automatically with the ticket purchase.
Can I choose a specific table?
No, tables are allocated automatically by the reservation system.
Are there gluten-free/lactose-free/vegetarian/vegan options?
Yes, the meals offer options for different dietary requirements.
Can I go to the observation deck with my restaurant ticket?
After visiting the restaurant.
LIMITED ACCESSIBILITY
Regrettably, accessibility did not play a role in planning and construction in the 1960s. Despite all efforts and the support of authorities, as well as disability and trade associations, the tower can not be retrofitted to be barrier-free. In order to ensure the safety of visitors in case of evacuation, wheelchair users and persons with a walking impediment (i.e. persons who can not move without help or assistance, such as crutches, etc.) are unfortunately not able to enter the Berlin TV Tower.
