Carnival of Cultures
An absolute highlight of the year is taking place again! The Carnival of Cultures shows the colorful and culturally diverse Berlin from its singing and dancing side. One of Berlin’s biggest street festivals offers a large program of culinary and musical surprises and, of course, the absolute highlight of the program: the street parade. This starts at 2 pm at the Yorckstraße / Mehringdamm junction via Gneisenaustraße and Hasenheide. Over 60 parade groups will be taking part.

International Museum Day
International Museum Day is a great day of action in which Berlin also participates with many museums and institutions. Not only is there the chance to visit museums for free, but many museums also offer additional programs such as guided tours, workshops, readings or other offers. Take the chance!

Re:publica
One of the largest conferences of its kind is about to take place again: Re:publica. The festival for digital society is dedicated to current global issues and will answer them in more detail under this year’s motto “Who cares?”. You can expect exciting keynotes and international speakers from the worlds of science, politics, the online community and culture. From 27 to 29 May 2024, you can experience not only the exciting talk program but also small installations, cabaret, pop-ups and colorful happenings at STATION Berlin.

DFB Cup final in Berlin
Oleeeee, ole, ole, ole – it’s no secret that Berlin knows soccer, especially as we are already looking forward to the UEFA EURO 2024 in the capital in June. However, soccer fans can look forward to the men’s DFB Cup final at the Olympiastadion Berlin to get them in the mood. In the final, 1. FC Kaiserslautern and Bayer 04 Leverkusen will compete against each other. The DFB Cup final has been played in Berlin’s Olympic Stadium since 1985. Kick-off is at 8 pm.

Open day at the Philharmonie
A really great opportunity to see the fantastic architecture of the Philharmonie in Berlin at your leisure and experience free classical concerts at the same time. The open day at the Philharmonie starts with an opening concert by the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra and a Beethoven symphony. Further concerts such as the chamber concert and the organ concert will take place throughout the day. If you can’t be there, you can follow the day live online. The program is rounded off by guided tours, master classes, interviews, instrument excursions and family workshops.
